The Forums objective is to bring out the common concerns of Europeans, and discuss them at a level which is above purely national interests.
This program covering the main issues of European current affairs is a place for argument, discovery and reflection.
Each program, combining studio discussion with reports, is based around a specific issue with a representative from the public eye who is directly concerned.
Reports filmed in countries across Europe provide essential information and insight to help gain an understanding into what is at stake in current affairs.
The teams journalists who compile these reports are from 7 different countries and speak a total of 9 languages.
The debate has three participants: the two presenters and an invited guest.
Along with an original concept, the Forum program is also innovative from an aesthetic perspective. For the first time, a news program uses virtual studio techniques, allowing it to use computer-synthesized images.
